K. W. (Kwock Wing) CHING (M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering, National University of Singapore; B.Eng. (Hons), University of New South Wales, Australia; Recipient of the prestigious Colombo Plan Scholarship of the British Commonwealth) brings over 30 years experience in both the public and private sectors. As an engineer initially, he moved on to the elite administrative service formulating national policies for regional as well as global trade issues at the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
He has held senior regional posts in MNCs, including Philips (Holland), NEC Corporation (Japan), and DSC Communications Corporation (now Alcatel USA). He opened up new markets and businesses in ASEAN, South Korea, Japan, Greater China and Australia. He also conducted a wide range of internal consulting projects, including corporate strategies and organizational development, change management and process development, IT systems design and implementation, joint-venture investment and technological transfer in China and, strategic joint-product and service development in Japan, Korea and China.
He has worked as an expatriate in Europe, Japan and the USA. He is fluent in English, Chinese and Japanese. As a trainer, he has conducted in-house seminars in the Greater China region on "Cross Cultural Management" and "Negotiation." He is co-author of a "Test Bank" to supplement Management: A Global Perspective (Eleventh ed.) by Weihrich & Koontz (McGraw-Hill, 2005).
Chi Ching R. G. (alias Rosaria Guzman Ching) (M.A. in Management and Supervision, Central Michigan University, under the United States Agency for International Development scholarship; B.Sc. in Business Economics, University of Philippines) has been an active lecturer cum trainer and consultant in Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines. She is currently running her own headhunting business, specializing in executive search and recruitment for banking and finance, logistics and IT sectors in Singapore.
She advises clients on career management and planning, including resume writing and interview techniques. She conducts seminars and training on "Resume Writing and Interviews" and customized courses on "Cross Cultural Management" and "Business Writing." She teaches courses in Organization Behavior, Economics for Managers, Human Resource Management and Cross Cultural Management.
She is co-author of Organizational Behavior in Asia: Issues and Challenges (McGraw-Hill, 2004) and a "Test Bank" to supplement Management: A Global Perspective (Eleventh ed.) by Weihrich & Koontz (McGraw-Hill, 2005).
