Introduction |

Judy A. Siguaw is the Founding Dean of Cornell-Nanyang Institute of Hospitality Management. She is also a Professor of Marketing in the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University and holds a J. Thomas Clark Chair in Entrepreneurship and Personal Enterprise.
Professor Siguaw has published more than 65 journal articles including those appearing in the Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Strategic Marketing, Industrial Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Travel Research, and the Cornell Hotel and Restaurant Administration Quarterly. She is co-author of Hospitality Sales: Selling Smarter, American Lodging Excellence: The Key To Best Practices in The U.S. Lodging Industry, and Introducing LISREL.
Professor Siguaw's research interests include personal selling, sales management, customer relationships, channels of distribution, and marketing strategy. She is currently at work on numerous journal manuscripts in these areas.
Professor Siguaw served as the faculty advisor for the Cornell student chapter of Hotel Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) for seven years and served a six-year term as a trustee on the HSMAI Foundation Board. She is presently on the regional founding board of HSMAI in Asia. In addition, she holds memberships with the American Marketing Association, Academy of Marketing Science, Phi Kappa Phi National Scholastic Society, and Beta Gamma Sigma Honorary Scholastic Society, as well as other associations.

Wee Beng Geok is Associate Professor at the Division of Strategy, Management and Organization, Nanyang Business School, Nanyang Technological University. She teaches Organizational Behavior and Human Capital Management courses in the School's post graduate and executive education programmes. She is also the Programme Director of the Nanyang Business School's MBA programme for Human Capital Management
She is the Director of Asian Business Case Centre (ABCC), a case research and publication centre which she set up at the Nanyang Business School in 2000. She has written and published numerous business case studies and have edited and contributed two case books titled: "Government linked companies and other organisations in Singapore" and "Hospitality Industry in Asia - Selected Case Studies". She is currently compiling two other case books for the Centre's Asian Management Case Collections.
She has over 20 years of corporate work experience, holding various management positions in some large Singapore based firms. She is currently a member of the board of directors of Raffles Medical Group Ltd. She also consults for organizations on strategic human resource issues.
