ABCC-Tote Board Case Workshops
This series of workshops is an outcome of a case study project undertaken by Tote Board in collaboration with the Asian Business Case Centre. It is specially designed for practitioners in the social service sector using case studies as a learning platform for knowledge sharing on major issues and challenges facing welfare organisations in Singapore.
"As the learning was focused on real life problem solving methods used by the organization featured in the case study, one could connect easily to the issues and think of how those methods may be applicable to one's own organization. The presence of the protagonists of the case study while the case discussion took place made it different from other case studies or discussions. This facilitated greater interaction from the participants. Practical issues and solutions always makes it easier for one to understand and adapt it to one's own problems or scenarios."
"It is easier for the staff to understand the theoretical aspects in the training as they can link the theory to the practical problem that they are familiar with."

"The whole process of putting together the final case was an interesting step to learn and undercover many important issues on our branding journey. It was a very enriching experience. It (the case) is very comprehensive. Staff will benefit from the success as well as the mistakes made during our entire branding journey."
"The workshop also helps us to clearly reflect on many of our key decisions and outcome. It is a very good reference point for others who are embarking on the same journey."
