| Abstract |
Topway Electronic, Formerly Kingway Electronic, was officially set up in Singapore, in 1990. Until Ms. Linna Yen Lin took over as Managing Director in 1992, this company was operating in the red. In less than two years, this dynamic young woman was able to clean up the warehouse, dispel rumours and make the business a profitable one. Although sales peaked in 1994, a worldwide recession in the electronic component industry has affected the company's current growth. Since the market is rather quiet at the moment, it might be a good time for diversification.
