| Abstract |
Delphi recently introduced its popular construction chemicals sold previously, only to wholesalers, to the retail segment. It was struggling with the problem of stabilizing its margin structure, pricing, logistics including packing. The differences in tax structures across states were creating confusion. Delphi was also exploring the option of outsourcing the packaging of its retail products. The case provides data on the current pricing and margin structure, proposals on outsourcing packaging and describes the logistics problems. |
