| Abstract |
In 1988, Kirin Brewery launched Kirin Dry to compete head-on against Asahis enormously successful Super Dry. Within a few days, other competitors had also launched their own dry beer. The company also announced price cuts and introduced a new Kirin Lager. In addition, a special task force was constituted by Kiran to face this challenge. |
