Abstract Vikram Freighters is a third party logistic provider. Vikram is currently charging some clients on the percentage value of goods handled and some other clients on number of items handled. The provider is paid only when goods are dispatched even though it incurs cost in receiving and storing goods. It is re-examining both the method and timing of charging its clients. The case provides detailed data on the operations to explore the above issues.
