| Abstract |
With the opening up of the Indian economy, companies are exposed to
a greater range of risk factors, including exchange rate and interest rate
exposures. A consultancy organization is exploring services related to risk
assessment and management. It has taken up the cotton yarn sector as an
exploratory case for developing suitable models. The case provides data
on market capitalization of six companies in this sector and the data on
macroeconomic and sector specific risk factors. |
