Abstract:

Professor Saeed-ur-Rahman, Executive Director of Bunyad Literacy Community Council, was facing a management problem within a donor funded project, which was leading to team breakage. The newly appointed Field Manager's relationship with his colleagues had deteriorated to such an extent that it was hampering the work of the project. There was also some tension between the Project Office and the donor. Professor Saeed-ur-Rahman had to identify the reasons leading to the conflicts between the various stakeholders and address the issues prior to the project evaluation in September 2001.
