Abstract: |
In July 2003 Ali Zuberi, Director Social Research Consultants (SRC), listened intently to his field supervisor as he briefed him about the refusal of primary school teachers from Gujranwala to teach 20 lessons in the summer camp. The Lahore-based SRC had faced a myriad of problems ever since it had taken up the Superlearning Pilot Project. Ali wondered if there was anything he could do to prevent the termination of his project. This case examines an issue in project management for a small sized consultancy which works in the social sector. SRC had an excellent reputation for project management in the fields of education, health, devolution and research in the social sector. |
