Prof. Biswatosh Saha obtained his Ph.D from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta for his doctoral work on 'Foreign Investment, Financial Markets and Domestic Industry: India in the 1990s' in 2002. He is currently with the Strategic Management group at Indian Institute of Management Calcutta. He teaches the Strategic Management core course and elective courses on International Management and Management of Innovation. He has published papers in Economic and Political Weekly, India, Metamorphosis, India and AI & Society, Springer, London, presented papers in conferences including the Strategic Management Society conference and has written several case studies that have been used in the classroom. His research interests include industrial policy, regulation and evolution of enterprises in developing economies, innovation processes, study of institutions and oriental theories of strategy and power. He has an interest in the study of processes of growth of Chinese enterprises as well.
